Customer Service for Online Orders

Our Customer Services Representatives will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to call them Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (EST) at (603)-880-6400 or send an e-mail to Customer Service. Please leave your name and number and someone will return your call as soon as they can. We do receive a high volume of inquiries and we try to answer each and every one as quickly as possible. Everyone at our office works at a computer and checks email all the time, so by far the best method to ask a question is to send us an email.

Shipping Options:

We ship all orders within 1-2 business days. All US shipments receive free Delivery Confirmation! We’ll email your delivery confirmation number when we ship your order.

    • Expedited Shipping:

We usually ship via USPS Priority mail, which arrives within 2-6 business days. Some larger books may be shipped by UPS instead of USPS Priority Mail, so please include an address other than a PO Box. We can also ship orders via UPS per your preference. You can view a map showing transit times for UPS Ground shipments within the US.

    • Economy Shipping:

If you are prepared to wait longer for your book, we can ship your order via USPS Media Mail, which usually arrives within 4-14 business days (please note, shipments sent via USPS Media Mail to Alaska, Hawaii, APO and FPO addresses or US territories may take up to 21 business days to reach you).

    • In-Store Pick Up:

If you live in the area and would like to pick up your order at our Nashua store location (34 NW Boulevard), please select the in-store pick up option. Someone at that store will notify you when your order arrives there. There is no shipping charge for orders shipped to our stores for pick-up.  You can find our full store address and phone number on our Sell Books page.

    • Outside the USA:

Please email Customer Service or call 603-880-6400 to find out more about the International shipping options available.

Note that the buyer is responsible for all charges imposed by customs agencies or postal services of your destination country, and that these agencies may cause your package to be significantly delayed.

Returns Policy:

Books are returnable within 10 days of receipt. Please contact us at service@bookcellaronline.com to receive a return authorization or if you have any questions. Please note, a 15-20% restock fee may apply to discretionary (no fault) returns.Please let us know as possible if there is any problem with your order, and we will do everything in our power to correct it.

Supplemental materials:

We make every effort to include supplemental materials (CDs, DVDs, workbooks, and working online access codes) with each purchase. However, we can’t guarantee that any such accessories accompany books unless the item description specifically states that supplements are included. Please note, some supplemental materials such as software or online access codes are designed for one use only and may have already been used by the first owner of a used title.

Selling Books

What We Buy

We buy back all types of textbooks – current and previous editions, instructor editions and even heavily used books. If your book no longer has value, we may offer you the opportunity to donate it. Donated books are either sent directly to teachers and schools overseas, or are sold, and a percentage of the sale is donated to local charities.

We also accept books for store credit (please note, store credit may be used in person at any of our stores, but may not be applied to online orders).

We are sorry, we do not purchase books without an ISBN.

How to sell books back to us

You can bring your books to any of our stores and receive an instant quote. If for some reason a quote can’t be done on the spot, you can drop off your books and we’ll give you a call within 24-48 hours.

Receiving Payment

In-store quotes are paid on the spot (if you’ve dropped off your books, you can pick up your check at the store, or have it mailed to you). If you have shipped your books to us, we will mail you a check once we have received the books and verified their condition.
